Accounting · Operations · AI, in one system

Every client gets an AI controller.

TAI sets up the schedules and does the work: the accruals, the prepaids, the reconciliations, the close, the board pack. Your team reviews and approves. Nothing posts until a person says yes.

The whole back office

Six tools, one ledger, and a month-end nobody dreads.

Most firms stitch together a bill-pay app, an invoicing tool, payroll, a document folder and a ledger only the accountant understands. Nothing reconciles on its own and every close is a scramble. TudoIQ collapses that into one system on a real double-entry ledger, with the operational work that creates the numbers sitting in the same place as the numbers.

Screen capture · 60-second product tour. Client dashboard → close checklist runs → statements → board pack.

One system, from the work that happens to the statements that come out of it.
TAI, your AI teammate

It reads the books
before you do.

A month of bank activity is twelve hundred lines. TAI reads all of them and tells you where it stands: what it coded from this client's own history, what it has drafted and wants you to confirm, and the handful it will not guess at.

You are not clicking through a queue. You are reviewing a disposition, and the thirteen it asks about are asked the day they land, with an answer already proposed. Which is how a suspense pile never starts.

Nothing waits in an uncategorised bucket. Where TAI is less than certain it still posts to the account this client's own books support, says why, and puts the row in your queue, so the review list is decisions to confirm, not a suspense account someone has to remember.

Operations into accounting

The work happens.
The books follow.

Projects, spend and approvals are coded where they happen, by the person who knows what it was for, with the account, the department and the project already attached. Finance approves and a draft bill is waiting on the other side.

No re-keying, no month-end archaeology, no chasing someone for what a $4,200 card charge was.

Screen capture · Approval → bill, 10s. Ops submits a coded expense, finance approves, the draft bill appears in A/P with the coding intact.

Month-end

Close in days. Not weeks.

Five of the seven standard close items run themselves, in the right order, each leaving a note explaining what it did. The two that need judgment are the two left for you. Sign-offs are recorded, and the locked period stays locked.

Screen capture · Close, 12s. Open March, press run, five items complete themselves with notes, then the period locks.

Everything downstream depends on the schedules, so they post first.
Month-end commentary

Why did contractors
jump 41%?

The worst hour of month-end is the one spent working out what moved and writing a sentence about it. Open the variance and the posted entries behind it are already there: vendor, date, amount, entry number.

Then the commentary writes itself from those same figures, and it tells you where it came from. If the ledger changes afterwards the explanation is flagged stale rather than left to quietly go wrong.

Commentary

Explain

Net income improved $12,400 vs Jul 2026 on revenue up $30,000 (+7.8%) on two new logos, expenses up $17,600. Gross margin held at 64.1% (64.3% prior). Three accounts moved more than 10%: Recruiting $42,000 (new: Heidrick retainer, PO-1188, two instalments still to come), Contractors $8,200 (+41.3%, mostly Acme Consulting $6,900), Infrastructure $2,772 (+22.9%, the AWS step-up that renews 12 Apr).

TAI flagged one thing to ask about

Contractors has now exceeded budget for the third month. At this run rate the annual line overruns by $34,000, and a question is drafted for the client, due with the board pack.

Every figure in that paragraph traces to posted entries. If the ledger moves afterwards, the commentary is marked stale rather than left to quietly go wrong.

Reconciliation

Matching that proposes.
People that decide.

Bank lines are matched against the ledger by amount, date and reference, and the matches are staged for review, never posted behind your back. A reconciliation only goes green when a statement balance has been entered and it actually ties.

Built for firms

Every client.
One console.

Run every engagement from one place: onboarding checklists, firm health, weekly digests, a branded client portal, and agreements with e-signature and tamper-evident signature records. A firm-of-firms hierarchy sits above it all.

Each workspace is walled off from the others, and people without finance visibility never receive the money columns at all.

Why the numbers hold

Fast is easy. Defensible is the hard part.

Automation is only worth having if you can still stand behind the output. So the rules live in the ledger itself, not in a screen that the next integration quietly bypasses.

It cannot be pushed out of balance

Debits must equal credits, checked after currency conversion, so a foreign-currency entry cannot balance in appearance and not in substance.

unbalanced: debits 5000 ≠ credits 4500

A closed month stays closed

Locked periods stop accepting entries at the ledger, not in the form. Forcing a close takes an override and a written reason, and both are kept.

Period 2026-07 is locked. Nothing can post into a closed period.

Nothing is quietly deleted

Posted entries can be reversed, never removed, and every reversal is hard-linked to what it reverses, so the pair stays legible for an auditor years later.

posted entries are append-only

Run the checks against a client nobody has onboarded and it will not congratulate you on a spotless ledger. It tells you there is nothing there to verify.
